This “little city” is located in Benton and Washington counties and the community is located between the Boston Mountains and the Springfield Plateau within the Ozark Mountains. The suburb has a population of around 2,300 residents and offers the community a rural feel while still being a close and caring community. The city of Elm Springs is the oldest in the Northwest of Arkansas! The city is known for having the oldest established post office within its county. Until the civil war, the city thrived with blacksmith shops, schools, a stagecoach stop, Masonic lodge, and so much more. Today, the city is growing and rapidly expanding in the region of Arkansas.
